Ruby Layfield - Pilates Instructor | Teacher Trainer | Mentor
Certified in Mat Pilates & Equipment Pilates

Hi, I’m Ruby, I started my Pilates journey at Pilates Body Center in 2010 where I received my comprehensive Pilates certification.

With over 15 years of experience in the Pilates industry, I am and have been deeply committed to helping individuals discover the power of movement and flexibility, and how it creates a positive impact that can last forever.  Not only through personal practice sessions, but through professional teaching as well.

As a Master Pilates Instructor, I specialize in both Mat Pilates and Equipment Pilates, and also have the privilege of leading comprehensive Teacher Training Programs, where I mentor aspiring instructors to reach their goals.  I also facilitate continuing education workshops.

My teaching philosophy focuses on individual body awareness, alignment, and a mindful approach to movement. Whether I’m guiding clients in 1:1 sessions, leading group classes, or training new instructors, I’m dedicated to providing thoughtful, supportive, and empowering instruction.  Pilates can be very powerful as a healthful, self-improving gift to yourself!

In addition to my work in the studio, I’m passionate about nurturing the next generations of Pilates instructors, sharing my knowledge and experience to help them excel in their careers.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, finding balance, and staying inspired to continue learning and growing both personally and professionally.
